2 drug suspects in Bulacan slain

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Two drug personalities were killed in a firefight with police operatives during a buy-bust operation in Bulacan, Sunday.

Reports reaching here identified the slain suspects as alias Edward of Barangay Batia, Bocaue town; and Jose Bautista, 54, alias Ute, of Barangay Banga, Plaridel town, both in Bulacan.

The two suspects, sensing they were dealing with a police poseur buyer, drew their guns and fired at the operatives.

This prompted lawmen to retaliate, killing the two suspects on the spot.

Recovered from alias Edward were seven sachets of shabu, caliber .38 revolver, and marked money; while from Bautista were two sachets of shabu, Colt caliber .38, aluminum foil and a motorcycle. (PNA)
