2 female drug pushers arrested in Cebu

Two suspected female pushers were arrested by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation in Cebu on November 13, 2017.

PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino identified the suspects as Sharon Alicaya, 33 years old, and Evangelyn Almacin y Medalla, 49, who were arrested by elements of PDEA Regional Office 7 (PDEA RO7) under the supervision of Director Emerson L. Margate in Barangay Lower Pakigne, Minglanilla, Cebu.

Confiscated during the operation were five pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic pack containing suspected shabu, weighing more or less 23.5 grams with an estimated value of Php117,000.00, one black pouch, and the boodle money.

Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the suspects.
