2 slain in Tarlac drug busts

CAMP MACABULOS, Tarlac — Two suspected drug personalities were killed in anti-illegal drug operations in this province Friday.

Senior Supt. Ritchie Posadas, Tarlac police provincial director, identified the fatalities as one alias “Buldog” of Barangay Cardona, Gerona town and George Bautista of Barangay Burgos, Moncada town.

Posadas said the two slain drug suspects were killed in a firefight with police operatives during separate buy-bust operations.

“Recovered from Buldog were an improvised gun and a sachet of shabu while from Bautista were a caliber .38 revolver and three sachets of shabu,” he said.

He added that the two slain suspects were on the list of drug personalities in their respective barangays. (Ric Sapnu/PNA)
