MANILA — Two suspected dealers of stolen motorcycles were killed in a shootout with policemen in Balayan, the Batangas Police reported Friday.

Killed during the gunfight was Christopher Macalalad, also known as Topek, while police have yet to identify the other suspect as of this posting.

The two suspects shot it out with lawmen during an entrapment operation in Barangay Lanatan, Balayan by operatives of the Batangas Highway Patrol Team and the Balayan Municipal Police.

A police report said the suspects immediately drew their guns and fired on the authorities after sensing that they were transacting with police operatives, who returned fire.
