2 women in drug watchlist nabbed in Pasay ops

MANILA— Police arrested Thursday night two women listed in the government’s drug watchlist in an entrapment operation in Pasay City.

Police identified the suspects as Princess Jezziah Villar, 18; and Crispina Lapuz, 43.

Operatives of the Southern Police District and Station Drug Enforcement Unit under, Police Senior Supt. Noel Flores, conducted the buy-bust at the suspects’ house at No. 2278 Tramo St., Brgy. 57, Pasay City at around 11:30 p.m.

Police Officer 1 Neil Caesar Basallo was able to confiscate seven pieces small transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substances suspected to be shabu, with an estimated street market of PHP8,000 and PHP500 marked money.

Cases for violation of Sec. 5, 11, Art. 2 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared for filing before the court against the two women.(Benjamin Pulta/PNA)
