3 drug suspects nabbed in Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Three drug personalities who are on the police’s illegal drugs watchlist were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in three towns here Friday.

Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, Police Regional Office-3 (PRO3) director, identified the arrested suspects as Maria Luz de Jesus, 55, resident of Guanzon Subdivision, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Magalang; Eddie Tala, 68, resident of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Lubao; and Marilou Valencia, 48, resident of Barangay Pio, Porac.

“The three suspects were arrested in an anti-illegal drugs operations,” Corpus said.

He said the trio were among the drug personalities on the illegal drugs watchlist in their municipalities.

Confiscated from the suspects were 15 sachets of shabu and marked money.

“They are presently detained in the respective police stations of theirtowns while charges of illegal possessions of drug were filed in court against them,” Corpus said. (PNA)
