3 Filipina coast guard commodores to join WMU anniv

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Saturday, March 11 announced that three Filipino Coast Guard (CG) Commodores were chosen to participate in the World Maritime University (WMU) Voices in Malmö, Sweden.

The WMU Headquarters selected CG Commodores Mitzie Silva-Campo, Vivien Jane Cay, and Marifem Ubongen-Isaac to be part of its 40th anniversary celebration.

The three female CG Commodores were WMU alumni and currently in the Philippine maritime sector.

According to WMU Headquarters, the WMU Voices publication will feature several of their alumni and will discuss the impact of attending the university has had on their lives.

The WMU is a postgraduate university founded by the International Maritime Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations. – cf
