3-M govt-procured Sinovac vaccine arrive in PH

Some three million doses of government-procured Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines on Sunday (Sept. 26).

The 26th batch of Sinovac vaccine delivery landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 around 5:55 PM earlier.

Before this latest delivery, the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 said that about 14.7 million COVID-19 vaccine doses arrived in the country just this month of September.

Overall, the country has received a total of 66.6 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines since the rollout of the national vaccination program.

Meanwhile, the Philippines confirmed 20,755 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the country’s total case count to 2,490,858. – Report from Rod Lagusad / CF – bny
