387K Black Nazarene devotees attend ‘Pahalik’

MANILA — An estimated 387,000 devotees gathered for the “Pahailk” or the traditional kissing of the Black Nazarene at the Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park, Manila which ended 5 a.m Tuesday.

This was bared by National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) spokesperson Chief Insp. Kimberly Molitas, adding that there are an estimated 50,000 devotees at the Quiapo Church.

The “Traslacion” or procession of the Black Nazarene started at 5:07 a.m.
