4.0-magnitude quake hits Cagayan

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake hit Dalupiri Island, Cagayan Sunday evening, Nov. 27, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

Phivolcs said the tremor struck 62 kilometers (km) northwest of Dalupiri Island at 8:31 p.m.

The quake had a depth of focus of one km and was tectonic in origin.

No damages and aftershocks reported.
