President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, extended his gratitude to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the embassies of Israel, Jordan, and Egypt for the safe passage of 40 more Filipinos from the Gaza strip through the Rafah crossing in Egypt.

In a video message, President Marcos said the Filipinos will be repatriated in the coming days.

The President said the successful passage of the 40 more Filipinos was made possible through the coordination of the DFA with the embassies in Israel, Jordan, and Egypt.

The President is hopeful that the remaining Filipinos waiting for signal to exit the Rafah border would be able to cross with their families as he assured to provide more updates regarding the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

Maraming salamat,” the President said. PND
