5 persons killed in Bulacan road mishap

Five persons were killed in a collision between a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and a trailer truck along DRT Highway in Baliuag, Bulacan early Wednesday morning, June 7.

According to the initial investigation, the SUV was carrying seven passengers or three Korean nationals and four Filipinos.

All Korean nationals died, while two Filipinos were also killed. Meanwhile, two Filipino passengers were rushed to the provincial hospital in Malolos, Bulacan.

The driver and the passenger of the truck sustained no injuries and are now in the custody of the Philippine National Police Baliwag.

The authorities are now gathering CCTV footage at the scene to investigate the incident. With reports from Joshua Garcia-ag
