6 Boracay tourists charged for fake RT-PCR results

The Department of Tourism (DOT) charged 6 Boracay tourists who have faked their RT-PCR test results.

DOT-6 Boracay Field and Compliance Monitoring Office Senior Tourism Operations Officer Marc Judicpa filed the case of falsification of documents with the Aklan Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.

DOT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat lauded the action made by the local government of Aklan and the Philippine National Police (PNP) in arresting the suspects. The Tourism Chief assured that the DOT will continue monitoring tourists to ensure compliance with the proper minimum health and safety protocols. -PTV News
