Seventy-two percent of adult Filipinos said their families “received money-help from government” since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, a new Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey revealed.

Of this proportion, 85 percent who said they received financial assistance from the government are from Metro Manila, 75 percent from balance Luzon or the remaining parts of Luzon, 65 percent in Mindanao, and 64 percent in Visayas.

The survey added that more women (75 percent) than men (67 percent) availed of the said financial assistance.
