9 Manila-El Nido flights cancelled Thursday due to bad weather

MANILA — Nine flights between Manila and El Nido were cancelled as of Thursday afternoon due to bad weather in El Nido, Palawan, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

Cancelled flights were AirSwift’s (T6) 111/112 Manila-El Nido-Manila, T6 126/127 Manila-El Nido-Manila, T6 142/143 Manila-El Nido-Manila, T6 130 Manila-El Nido, T6 147 El Nido-Manila, and T6 149 El Nido-Manila.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration earlier said the southwest monsoon affecting the western section of Luzon and Visayas would bring scattered rain showers over northern Palawan, Mindoro, Bataan, Zambales, and western Visayas on Thursday. ( Ma.
