Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, 93% of Filipinos are hopeful that the worst of the crisis is over, according to the latest survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS).
Around 6% believe that the worst has yet to come.
The percentage of hopefuls is up from the 91% in June and September to October 2022.
The SWS said large majorities believe the worst is over since December 2021.
The December 2022 survey found that 78% of Filipinos worry about contracting the virus, including 59% that “worried a great deal” and 18% who were “somewhat worried.”
Meanwhile, 9% said they worried a little and 13% were not worried about the virus.
The SWS conducted the survey among 1,200 adults from December 10 to 14. -ag
