97% of health frontliners in priority areas have received COVID-19 jabs

Almost 97% of those who are listed under the A1 group in priority areas have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines.

According to Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje, at least 1.5 million of about 1.6 million healthcare workers received their jabs against COVID-19.

Cabotaje clarified that the said number excludes families of these medical professionals and overseas Filipino workers.

The vaccine campaign’s focus areas include Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, Metro Davao, Bulacan, Cavite, Pampanga, Laguna, Batangas, and Rizal. – Report from Alvin Barcelona / CF- jlo
