IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay — This province has new education and police chiefs.

Dr. Majarani Jacinto has assumed as schools division superintendent while Senior Supt. Jerry Protacio took over as the new provincial police director.

Jacinto replaced Natividad Bayubay, who was transferred to the National Capital Region.

Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Director Isabelita Borres led the simple turn-over ceremony held on Thursday at the provincial schools division office.

Jacinto, in a courtesy call, has assured Gov. Wilter Yap Palma that he will further improve the programs on education in this province.
