Trough of LPA to bring rains to Mindanao Wednesday

MANILA – The trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) will bring scattered rain showers in some areas in Mindanao while the northeast monsoon will continue to affect the rest of the country on Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services (PAGASA) said the trough of the LPA will affect Soccsksargen, the provinces covered by the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, and Davao Occidental.

The Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Bicol regions, the provinces of Aurora, Quezon and Oriental Mindoro, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Temperature in Metro Manila will range from 21 degrees to 29 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 16-27 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 10-20 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 23-29 degrees Celsius, and Metro Davao 22-29 degrees Celsius.
