Partly cloudy to cloudy skies for PH on Thursday

MANILA — Two weather systems continue to affect the country on Thursday, the weather bureau said.

In its 4 a.m. forecast for Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the tail-end of a cold front is affecting Mindanao while the northeast monsoon is affecting the rest of the country.

Caraga, Davao Region, and the Northern Mindanao provinces of Camiguin, Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the tail-end of a cold front.

The regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera; provinces of Bicol, Aurora, Quezon, Northern Samar and Eastern Samar; Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to northeast monsoon.

The eastern section of the Visayas and Mindanao seaboards will have strong winds from northeast with rough coastal waters.

The temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 21-29 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City, 17-28 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 12-22 degrees Celsius; Angeles City, 21-30 degrees Celsius; Lipa City, 18-28 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu, 23-29 degrees Celsius and Davao City, 22- 25 degrees Celsius.
