ZAMBOANGA CITY — The PHP114-million Out-Patient Department (OPD) of the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) is now open to serve the public.
Dr. Afdal Kunting, ZCMC spokesperson, on Wednesday said the OPD, equipped with modern facility and high-tech equipment, has started serving the public on Monday.
“We expect to serve more patients. Right now, we have more space, more modern facility, and more high-tech equipment to better serve the public,” Kunting said.
The new OPD is located in a recently completed four-storey building worth PHP114 million. It also has a spacious parking area.
The services include dental, pediatrics, obstetrician-gynecology, orthopedics, internal medicine, surgery, family medicine, ultrasound, laboratory, eye, ear, nose, and throat.
Kunting said they have adopted a queue system to ensure a smooth flow and to better serve the patients.
OPD serves as many as 800 patients a day including those from nearby provinces.
