MANILA — The trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) is affecting Mindanao Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, PAGASA said Mindanao would have partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the trough of an LPA.

Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and the Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies due to the ridge of a high-pressure area (HPA).

Temperature in Metro Manila will range from 21 degrees to 32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City, 22-34 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 13-23 degrees Celsius; Angeles City, 21-32 degrees Celsius; Lipa City, 20-33 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu, 23-32 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao, 34-33 degrees Celsius.
