The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting is in need of volunteers for the May 13, 2019 National and Local Elections (NLE).

In a post on its Facebook account Monday, the election watchdog group said they need people who have knowledge in computer and Information Technology (IT) as well as support staff.

“We’re on the lookout for more volunteers to help ensure a CHAMP (Clean, Honest, Accurate, Meaningful and Peaceful) Elections!” the PPCRV said.

The group is in need of computer-literate people, who can encode and who can use cellphones; IT people, for transparency room, who can learn systems and support staff, who are willing to share their time, talent, and skills.

The public may go to their parish representative or by messaging them on Facebook.

The PPCRV is the accredited citizens’ arm of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in forthcoming polls.

Earlier, the Church-backed group said that they need at least 300,000 volunteers to be deployed nationwide on Election Day.

Those who would like to become PPCRV volunteers must be at least 18 years old; a registered voter; not related to any serving Board of Election Inspectors up to the fourth degree of consanguinity; and not related to any candidate in a particular district.
