MANILA — Partly cloudy skies will prevail over the country on Saturday, while some areas will experience isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Batanes, the Babuyan Group of Islands, the Bicol region, the Samar provinces, Caraga and the Davao region will experience isolated rain showers due to the frontal system and localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over northern Luzon and the eastern part of central and southern Luzon, and the Visayas. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
