MANILA — The easterlies affecting the country will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the entire archipelago, the weather bureau said on Monday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) added that flash floods are possible during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow over extreme northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Moderate winds will prevail over the eastern section of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, with moderate seas.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
