MANILA — Four flights between Manila and Basco in Batanes province were cancelled due to bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said Friday afternoon.

These flights were Sky Jet (M8) 816/817 and CebGo (DG) 6009/6010 Manila-Basco-Manila.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) earlier forecast cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Batanes due to the southwest monsoon affecting the western section of Luzon.
