Cebu Pacific’s PH-HK flights back to normal ops

MANILA — Local carrier Cebu Pacific’s (CEB) operations between the Philippines and Hong Kong are back to normal, an airline spokesperson said on Friday.

“Our operations between Manila and Hong Kong and between Clark and Hong Kong are normal so far,” Charo Lagamon told the Philippine News Agency (PNA).

On Thursday night, CEB cancelled two flights between Hong Kong and Clark, while another two flights between Manila and Hong Kong were delayed apparently due to bad weather conditions in Hong Kong.

The carrier added that Hong Kong authorities have limited the arriving flights from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. because of the bad weather and unavailability of aircraft parking space.

Affected passengers were provided with meals and refreshments, while those in the cancelled flights had the option to rebook, reroute or refund their flight tickets, according to CEB.

Lagamon said passengers of the cancelled flights were transported to Manila last night to take a Manila-Hong Kong flight instead.
