LPA to bring isolated rains in most parts of PH Monday

MANILA — A low pressure area (LPA) spotted off Borongan City, Eastern Samar will bring isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in most parts of the country on Monday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA was located 595 kilometers northeast of Borongan City as of 3 a.m.

The trough of the LPA would affect Metro Manila, Visayas, the regions of Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Caraga, and Davao, and Aurora province.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm, creating possible flashfloods or landslide during severe thunderstorm.

Metro Manila temperature ranges from 25-34 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 25-36 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 17-24 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-34 degrees Celsius and Metro Davao 25-32 degrees Celsius.
