Road repairs in parts of Metro Manila set June 28-July 1

Edsa, one of the most congested roads in Metro Manila.

MANILA — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road repairs in parts of Metro Manila, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Friday.

In its advisory on Friday, the MMDA said the following roads will be closed for reblocking and repairs by the DPWH from 11 p.m. (June 28) until 5 a.m. on Monday (July 1):

SOUTHBOUND:

– Edsa fronting Guzent Construction Equipment Sales and Rental to Culiat Bridge (2nd lane from the sidewalk)

– Katipunan Avenue before P. Tuazon Boulevard (2nd lane from the sidewalk)

– Edsa- Magallanes-Baclaran bus stop to Magallanes- Alabang bus stop (outer lane)

– Edsa Eugenio Lopez – Scout Borromeo (desilting and construction of manhole)

WESTBOUND:

– Quirino Highway Kingfisher Street to Primerose Street (2nd lane from the sidewalk)

– General Luis Street Pascal Street to before Oriental Tin

NORTHBOUND:

– C-5 Road fronting SM Aura Northbound (3rd lane from the median) and SM Aura Southbound (2nd lane from the median)

– Regalado Extension to Quirino Highway (2nd lane from the sidewalk)

– Edsa after Aurora Boulevard (1st and 2nd lane from the sidewalk)

MMDA advised motorists to avoid these areas and use alternate routes instead.
