Three Drug Suspects Nabbed by Pasig City Police for selling Illegal Drugs

Three drug suspect were arrested by elements of Pasig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit during a buy-bust operation in Pasig City in the evening of July 31, 2019.

According to the report of PCOL RIZALITO GAPAS, Acting Chief of Police, Pasig City Police Station to PBGEN NOLASCO K. BATHAN, District Director, the operation was conducted at about 10:30 PM along Gayubano Ext.Napico Brgy.Manggahan, Pasig City that resulted to the arrest of Joe Isagani Belen y Salasibar @Dodong, 25 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Gayubano St., Napico, Brgy.Manggahan, Pasig City (Liste) , Grace Maureen Rapiz @ Grace , 18 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Gayubano St., Napico, Brgy.Manggahan, Pasig City and Julius Hicap y Montefrio @ lus, 33 years old, single, construction worker and a resident of Lansones St., Napico Brgy.Manggahan, Pasig City.

They were arrested for selling six (6) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing undetermined quantity of white crystalline substance suspected to be ‘shabu’. Operatives recovered Php 800.00 used as buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects were apprised of their constitutional rights in a dialect they understood and subsequently brought to Rizal Medical Center (RMC), Pasig City for medical examination.

The six (6) pieces of suspected ‘shabu’ were brought to EPD Crime Laboratory for drug test and laboratory examination while the arrested suspects were properly turned-over to the Pasig City Police Station Headquarters for proper documentation and are now detained at Pasig City Custodial Facility facing charges of violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165.
