DPWH road repairs this weekend

MANILA — Motorists are advised to use alternative routes as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) conducts its weekend road repairs in the cities of Quezon, Pasig and Caloocan.

In its traffic advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the following roads will be affected by the road reblocking from 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, until 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 2:

SOUTHBOUND:
1. Along Bonifacio Avenue between Mauban Street to Del Monte, Quezon City (outer lane)
2. Along Visayas Ave. in front of Bureau of Plant Industry (inner lane)
3. Along C-5 Road near Lanuza Ave., Pasig City (2nd lane)
4. Along EDSA near corner Bansalangin in front of UniOil, Quezon City (2nd lane)
5. Along E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave. after Greenmeadows Ave., Quezon City (3rd lane from center island)
6. Along E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave. after Poseidon Road, Quezon City (truck lane)
7. Along E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. corner Monte de Piedad going to Cubao, Quezon City (2nd lane from the sidewalk)

NORTHBOUND:
8. Along Mindanao Ave. corner Tandang Sora Ave., Quezon City
9. Along Bonifacio near Monumento Circle, Caloocan City
10. Along CP Garcia Ave. from University Ave. to E. Jacinto St., Quezon City (3rd lane)
11. Along V. Luna Road from East Ave. to Kalayaan Ave., Quezon City
12. Along Manila East Road in front of SM East Ortigas, Pasig City
13. Along Quirino Highway near corner La Mesa Dam Road, Quezon City (1st lane) (PNA)
