The Department of Education (DepEd) shall focus on improving the quality of education in the country by hiring more competent teachers and utilizing new technology and global learning trends through its 2020 budget. The DepEd has a proposed allocation of PhP 51.7 billion, the largest share of the proposed PhP 4.1 trillion national budget.
