QC Gov’t to move ex-Sen. Ninoy Aquino monument

The Local Government of Quezon City has removed the statue of the late Sen. Ninoy Aquino which has been standing along Timog Avenue for the past 10 years. This is part of QC’s road clearing efforts to ease up traffic congestion in the area. Mayor Joy Belmonte has coordinated with the Aquino family on the suitable place for the monument’s relocation.
