QC government launches “Oplan Libreng Sakay”

The Quezon City Local Government launches its free ride tomorrow, the “Oplan Libreng Sakay,” as Alliance of Concerned Transport Organizations and Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide stage their joint transport strike tomorrow, 30 September 2019. The strike is a protest to the national government’s move to modernize public utility vehicles in the country. In the morning, the free ride begins at 6:00 A.M. and ends at 9:00 A.M. In the afternoon, it commences at 4:00 P.M. and ends at 6:00 P.M. Some of the pick up points and drop off points are along Commonwealth Avenue, in Barangays Alicia, Bahay Toro, Batasan Hills, Bagumbuhay, and Loyola Heights. The local government advises the public to visit https://www.facebook.com/QCGov/ for further information on the free ride.
