Tigil-Pasada to push through tomorrow

Transport groups are hellbent on pushing through with the tigil-pasada or strike tomorrow. ACTO National President Efren de Luna is optimistic that 90% of drivers together with other organizations are joining the protest. De Luna points out that while the group agrees with the government’s modernization program for the transport industry, it opposes provisions like the process of offering new jeeps on loan, franchising and rationalization of routes.
