PH table tennis team looks to bury forgettable 2019 Asian Table Tennis Championships stint

Members of the Philippine Table Tennis Federation hopes to end the year on a good note by bouncing back from their medal-less 2019 Asian table tennis championships held in Indonesia.

Top table tennis players Jann Nayre and Japheth Adasa recorded the team’s best finish, both reaching top 32 in the men’s singles event while Nayre and fellow national team member John Russell Misal finished in the top 16 of the men’s doubles event.

Because of the team’s dismal performance, the national team is putting twice as much effort in their preparation for the upcoming 30th Southeast Asian Games.
