Malacañang leaves “ninja cops” probe to Senate, DILG

The palace leaves it up to the Senate and Department of the Interior and Local Government to finish their respective investigations on the “ninja cops.” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo explains that Pres. Rodrigo Duterte has not yet given any directive on the issue, including the fate of incumbent Philippine National Police Director General Oscar Albayalde whose name surfaced in the probes. The Chief Executive will decide on the matter based on the findings of said two bodies.
