Pension fund for retiree-soldiers released

The Department of Budget and Management has released PHP 22.3 billion for the pension of retired soldiers and uniformed personnel. The fund has been turned over to the Department of National Defense, Department of the Interior and Local Government, National Mapping and Resource Information Authority and Philippine Coast Guard. This includes said personnel’s June to December pensions as well as salary increase which was granted by Pres. Rodrigo Duterte on January 2018.
