DOH confirms Philippines 3rd polio case

The Department of Health (DOH) today confirmed the third polio case in the country.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque identified the victim as a four year old girl from Datu Piang, Maguindanao.

Sec. Duque clarified though that the girl, who was admitted at Cotabato Regional Medical Center on September 26, did not receive a single dose of Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV).
