Magnitude 5.5 quake jolts Quezon Province

A magnitude 5.5 quake rocked Quezon province at 5:00 A.M. today, November 07, 2019, whose epicenter was in the sea. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has not raised any tsunami warning after the shake and negated the connection of the incident to the earthquake in Mindanao.

On a separate note, the Phivolcs encouraged the public to join in the nationwide earthquake and tsunami drills.
