President Duterte to attend ASEAN-Korea Commemorative Summit in Busan

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo clarified that President Rodrigo Duterte declined the suggestion of well-meaning friends to rest for three days.

Panelo added that the Chief Executive will fly to Davao tonight to continue work from his home.

The President had a meeting at the Malacañan as a proof that he is well and the public has nothing to worry about.

However, Panelo said that there is no date set on PRRD’s meeting with VP Leni Robredo regarding the latter’s appointment as co-chair of Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD).

He also added that Robredo is free to make decisions regarding the war of drugs.
