Following the onslaught of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Davao del Sur in the afternoon of yesterday, December 15, 2019 that has necessitated Vice President and former Inter-agency Committee on Anti-illegal Drugs (ICAD) Co-chairperson Leonor “Leni” Robredo’s attention, the veep postponed the conveyance of her report on the state’s war on drugs. She informed the public that the report is already complete, consisting of 40 pages. Possibly, she releases the information before Christmas Day or in 2020. In the meantime, the Office of the Vice President focuses on the aide it will provide to the afflicted individuals from said quake.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, commenting on the veep’s report, stated that she should have divulged her findings and recommendation on the matter long earlier.
The Philippine National Police, for its, part, said that it is open to the Vice President’s recommendations.
