Philippines-USA ties unperturbed by USA’s travel ban on Philippine government officials -DFA

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) states that the relationship of the Philippines and United States of America (USA) remains perfect notwithstanding the travel ban imposed on the Philippine government executives involved in imprisoning Senator Leila de Lima, by the USA government. The foreign affairs arm, further, comments that the action against the senator is legal, the move being ratified by the Supreme Court of the Philippines.
