by Mark Fetalco

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has assured that it is currently expediting the process of the shipment of medical supplies and relief goods.

The BOC has activated its Assistance Desk to hasten the clearance and release of the shipment, and has requested stakeholders and importers to give the initial detailed information on the imported emergency medical supplies.

The department has denied allegations of delaying the release of the needed supplies and equipment in light of the issue that there are medical supplies stocked in their warehouse.
