DOH Sec. Duque now under home quarantine

The Department of Health (DOH) has confirmed Thursday that DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III is under home quarantine.

According to DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, the Health Chief is currently asymptomatic. He was tested for Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) because he is asthmatic and hypertensive.

Sec. Duque is currently working from home.

The DOH has also confirmed that a senior official has tested positive with the virus on Tuesday, March 17.
