Gov’t suspends filing of cases, proceedings with OP amid ECQ

The filing of cases, appeals, petitions and other pleadings at the Office of the President are currently suspended amid the ongoing enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.

Based on Administrative Order No. 29 released by Malacaῆang on Wednesday, the directive covers complaints against governors, mayors, vice mayors, presidential appointees, and other officials of the government.

However, the AO provides that “urgent cases” are not included in the suspension, especially if connected to the ongoing public health emergency. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
