Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque clarified that the expiration of the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act will not affect the implementation of the government’s current programs including the Social Amelioration Program.
However, he pointed out that problems might arise in the long run due to the expired effectivity of the act. That’s why the government hopes for its extension.

Meanwhile, National Task Force against COVID-19 Deputy Chief Implementer Vince Dizon reported that as of June 19, the Philippines has surpassed its goal of 50,000 testing capacity daily. As of June 24, 66 Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) laboratories have been established. As of June 22, 612, 571 tests have been conducted in the country. The target has been set at 1 million tests by July.
