Motorcycle riders are given a grace period until July 19 to install the barrier required by the government for back-riding.
Joint Task Force COVID Shield Commander Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar reminded that riders may opt for the prototype of the Bohol Provincial Government or the ride-hailing firm, Angkas.
According to Gen. Eleazar, the grace period aims to give time for riders to comply with the policy but they will continue monitoring and warning riders without the mandatory barrier mounted on their motorcycle. The back-riding policy is set to be implemented on July 20.
