DAR to implement skeletal workforce in several offices due to COVID-19

The Central Office, Region 4A and Region 4B offices of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) have temporarily stopped operations after an official tested positive for the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The DAR has clarified that they will implement a skeleton workforce for their offices to remain open especially those with critical functions. Others will work from home while conducting the disinfection.

Meanwhile, the DAR has coordinated with the Department of Health (DOH) to conduct swab tests on employees who had direct contact with the said official. The agency will also perform mass testing and contact tracing. Operations are expected to resume on August 2 depending on the results of the swab tests.
