Malacañang: Distribution of 2nd tranche of SAP is slow

Malacañang has admitted that the distribution of the 2nd tranche of the Social Amelioration Program is slow.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the recent data of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) says that the 2nd tranche of SAP has been distributed to 3,371,494 families.

The agency has cited many reasons for this but promised to finish the distribution by the end of July.

(It is really slow. The Palace finds the process of the second tranche rather slow. The DSWD has given many reasons but we have accepted the declaration of the DSWD that it will be finished by the end of July except for those without internet. Let’s leave it at that).” – Report from Mela Lesmoras
